Privacy policy

Scope

This policy covers the data collected by the uversion.io website and the licence validation service. It does not cover the data stored in your uVersion instance: that data lives on infrastructure you operate, and its processing is governed by your own policy.

Data collected by uversion.io

• Signup form: name, email, studio, team size, Unreal version
• Contact form: email, message
• Licence: holder email, number of active users reported by your instance
• Payment (Studio plan): information handled by Polar (Merchant of Record)

Storage

The uversion.io website and the licence server are hosted in France. No site data is transferred outside the European Union, except for payment data, processed by Polar (a Merchant of Record based in the United States) during a Studio subscription (see processors).

Retention

Licence data is kept for as long as the licence is active. On termination, personal data is erased within 30 days, except for accounting logs kept for 5 years (legal obligation).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights: privacy@uversion.io.

• PulseHeberg (France): hosting of the site and the licence server
• Polar (Polar Software, Inc., United States): payment and VAT collection as Merchant of Record (Studio plan)
• Mailjet (France): transactional email delivery

Cookies

The uversion.io site does not set tracking cookies. No third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) are used.
